One thing I’ve noticed about LinkedIn is that it is the informational pieces that do quite well, but that opinion pieces often don’t. Then again, my opinions are often not in line with common opinion and that could have a lot to do with it. 🙂

I promote my posts on Twitter but it doesn’t bring me a lot of traffic. I can’t really spare the time for interaction there and don’t have a lot of followers.

Conversion depends on numbers of factors. For example, if most of your followers are housewife with no interest in gaming, they will not interact with your tweet about Pokomon Go.

That makes sense. I actually created a special Twitter account just for bonsai, so the people who follow me there should really be interested in my blog posts.

This is true, @vinaya, but LinkedIn tends to be more oriented toward business and such. It is much more slanted toward informational pieces than, say, Facebook.
