How to Use Writing For Therapy

 

I always differentiate writing and publishing. While writing, I always brood on the ideas and thoughts that I’m intending to share with the people. After my writing gets published, I usually ponder on how much money my work will earn me.

Money is always the secondary thing when I am writing. However, money is the main concern when I publish my work.

Writing is the art of creativity, publishing refers to making from your creativity.

  • If you want to address mental health,
  • If you want to self-heal,
  • If you are suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression,
  • If you are frustrated, sad, angry,
  • If you are taking bed rest because of physical injury, and frustrated over your condition….

Writing Is Therapeutic

Writing is one of the best ways to cure your conditions and ailments. Writing is therapeutic. Here is the logic behind the healing power of writing.

Writing gives you freedom to express anything. The feeling of freedom is wonderful.

Writing engages your mind and channelizes your emotions, which means you can easily discard your anxiety, stress, depression, sadness, anger.

Since you are able to share your pent up emotions, you will be able to relieve your mind.

Through writing, you enter the world unknown, place untraveled. You meet wonderful people, who unlike real life people cannot hurt you, physically or emotionally.

      Apart from an occasional facebook post, my “Therapeutic” writing very rarely makes it onto the internet.

      I’ve been keeping paper journals off and on since 2000, and that is where I work out most of my mental ups and downs.

      It is often said that writing is good therapy. Now I just have to start writing down the positive and not just dumping out the negative.

        You can express your happinesss as well as sadness through writing. If you write happiness, you will be happier, if you write sadness,it will go away

      Yes! It is therapeutic! I write to share my thoughts, it feels like im going to explode talking to my brain alone, so writing is my outlet.. And you can find lots of friends too! I hope we dont lose this site, my heart is still mending from being torn into pieces when Bubblews went under 🙁
