Internet Will Replace TV Soon

The data collected worldwide suggests that worldwide web will soon replace television! It may sound strange to some but the fact is that the internet is fast making its presence felt and getting within the reach of common people especially in developing countries as developed countries have this facility for a long time. The world is getting closer by the expansion of internet at a brisk pace.

The Internet has changed the world in more than one way. It has not only broken the geographical barriers but also changed the views of people by providing them unlimited information on every possible topic available anywhere in the world. The online world has also provided a number of ways of entertainment to common people that they could not even imagine about a decade or so back at least in third world countries.

Most of the channels have arranged to reach entertainment and information via apps including music, serials, movies, sports, news and games. Most of the people that had no access to YouTube, Hotstar, Woot, ESPN, Star etc can download these apps and watch what they like and some of these like YouTube is available even offline if downloaded earlier at a convenient time is an added advantage.

Have you tried Game of Thrones season 6 or Eros Now lately? Do it now and get the best of entertainment.

I think it already has, to some extent. Our TV remains silent for long durations now while children and adults watch their favourite programmes on smartphones and tablets via Internet.

I know that you should know the artificial demands created by the companies. They will sell a comb to a bald and a fridge to an Eskimo.

I have a TV at my home in a foreign country connected via internet which provides me my local channels of my choice which would not be possible had it not been for internet.

There was a time when I used to watch TV for 3-4 hours every day, however, I don’t have time for TV these days. I am always surfing internet.

it’s true Suny… Actually for the last few years since I am active in online sites, I rarely watch TV, and whatever I want I get in my ‘mouse’ tips, with less intervention of ads. What else needed? Saves a lot of time….and our time and convenience.

It is amazing how fast the world is changing! Not much time for viewing TV here, but we know many do enjoy their ‘shows’ and when on the Internet things will be better.

I am sure the day is not far when internet will hook TV channels and buy exclusive rights for airing them.

I don’t watch TV a lot and even cancelled my cable since I can use the internet for watching current events. movies or to simply catch up some shows I missed, and work at the same time, though there are still shows better watch on TV especially when the whole family gather together.

Hubby doesn’t read, so he’d be in a sorry state if television ever went away. Our phones are ancient. We can’t text or do apps. I do spend more time online than watching TV though.
