Without deliberating much, I will say, “YES! You can make a living by working online.” If you are based in Asia or Africa, online income can be your main source of income. If you are based in Europe and America, online income can contribute substantially in your income.
Because of exchange rates, purchasing power of your money is great in Asia and Africa. If I earn $100 (I’m based in Nepal), I can buy a pair of jeans and T-shit for myself, buy a good dress for my wife, take my wife for dinner and can still have some change. In Europe and America, value of $100 is comparatively less, but if you are committed you can easily make that amount in few days by spending a couple of hours in a day.
If you have English skills, working internet connection and a computer/tablet/smartphone, you can easily write and publish articles and posts on writing sites and forums, write for clients or have your own website. If you have designing skills, you will earn from your work. If you have time to spare, you can easily spend some time on various sites and make money.
You can make money from your posts and articles when you publish on writing sites and social blogging sites. On these sites, you can earn from internal views. However, in order to earn substantially from internal views, you have to put much effort regularly, for instance, regular posting and interaction with the members.
To make steady income from your posts, you need external traffic. External traffic means the non-user visitors from search engines and social media. If your post is informative, nicely titled, and packed with relevant keywords, it will receive regular external traffic without doing anything.
Earning potential on internet is limitless. How much you can earn depends on how much effort you apply. On most of the content sites, you will earn from views. However, on some you can also earn y doing affiliate marketing.
