Here are measures to be taken to remain cool in the summer:

  • Keep curtains closed to block sunlight in the daytime.
  • Dishwashers and cooking appliances produce heat waves. Avoid using them in the summer.
  • Keep a jug of drinking water in your refrigerator. Drink more water than usual.
  • Eat spicy foods. Spicy food will enhance circulation and cause sweating.

  • Try iced tea or cold coffee.
  • Avoid excessive activity and exercise. Exercise early in the morning, as it is the coolest part of the day.
