Ways to Make Money Online

I have been trying to make money online through writing since 2010. Here are my findings based on my experience and study.

  • Find a good writing site that pays the users based on revenue system. Publish contents that are optimized for search engines. SEO contents are good source of passive income.
  • Find a good social blogging sites and publish your posts.
  • Join freelancer site and write for the clients.
  • Write books and publish on free publishing platforms such as Kindle, CreateSpace, Lulu etc.
  • Launch your own website and monetize it with ad partners such as AdSense, Chitika etc. You can also do affiliate marketing on your website.

Alternatively, there are also other ways to make money online, such as pay to click, traffic exchange, affiliate marketing etc.

  • Begin affiliate marketing by selling things on ebay, Amazon etc.
  • Join Pay to Click Sites and earn money by viewing ads and other offers.
  • Participate in paid surveys.
  • Join Traffic Exchanges sites and drive paid traffic to your site.
  • Earn commissions by referring to the sites – including and not limited to pay to write and pay to click –where you are active.
  • Publish photos and arts on photo/art sharing sites and make money from your sales.
  • Publish video on video sharing sites and make money from advertising.
  • Sell your crafts and designs online.

Yes, I have reading your articles from a long time now.. Its always something informative in them.. I too believe we should write SEO related articles for further growth and find some good online writing sites.. Although I have stopped using paid to click sites, they are damn slow..

Agreed. Some methods work for some people where as it will not work for others. You should settle with the one that you find most profitable.

A good but short list 🙂 I would have loved it more if you expanded it a bit. I was looking for Wattpad for example and couldn’t find it. I know some writers who started on blogging, then on to Wattpad, and to becoming a published writer.

You don’t have to go to wattpad to get published. You can publish for free on Amazon Kindle and Amazon CreateSpace. The publishing process is very easy.

That’s good to know 🙂 But for practice purposes with lots of peer and fan feedback, I think that’s where Wattpad is good for.

I am currently doing various opportunities as well. I can’t say I have made alot of money, but I have made some. But in the process I have weeded out the scams. Always a process, but I am determined to find what works my next adventure is publishing on Kindle and Createspace.

If you have at least 24 pages, you can get published on Kindle easily. Formating for kindle is also easy. Publishing on createspace could be little bothersome though.

Affiliate programs have also not worked for me. I have been able to sell couple of products but not much.

If you have tried The Forum Wheel or Postloop, you could have earned upto 10 cents per post. Sadly postloop is shutting down.
