When Do You Go To Sleep?

Are you an “early to bed, early to rise” person? Or are you a “night owl”?
Me? I’m a night owl. I’ve always been. Go to bed late, get up late. Depending on work schedules, of course. If I have an early shift, then of course I go to bed early. I like the quiet of the night, when most people are asleep. I feel like I can get more work done then.
My husband goes to bed at generally the same time every night but his work schedule is a set schedule. He generally gets up around 6am and then has to be at work at 730am. He’s not one of those who can just get out of bed, get ready, and go. He likes to have his coffee and watch the early morning news. While I prefer to sleep to the last possible minute, get out of bed, get dressed, and go.



They say that night owls are more creative and also score higher on intelligence tests. They have higher brain activity and different brains. One thing I saw, also said that night owls also tend to be psychopaths but I don’t fall into that, thankfully!

There are benefits to being an early riser, as well. Waking up early correlates with better grades in school. It enhances productivity as well as helps you maintain a better diet. It also helps with mental health. (So I guess I should be an early riser! Haha)

      I enjoy the quiet times at night more and I have been doing this for a year now. I am working on a specific site and there is a time differences that is why I am working at night.

      I used to be a night owl, but since I don’t work anymore I am now a morning person.
      I like to get up early and walk and then come home and the boys are still sleeping, so I can do whatever I want to.
