You make it well!
This is your reward!
I am happy for you. You did it again.
I have a gift for you for the good things you have done!
These are some of the words that we can hear if we do good things to others or if we do things that is supposed to be done. How about our feelings about this? Are we going to be happy? thankful? proud?
Of course, we will feel all this things and we like to do more to achieve great things so that we can influence others. How much more when Jesus comes and say these words to us?
“”His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Matthew 25:23
If we are active in achieving things on Earth so that our family, relatives, and friends will recognize us, its far more to do things that show glorification to our God almighty. We will receive recognition more than what we got from Earth but a recognition of heaven and a GIFT of eternal life.
While walking on the road, you saw a beggar begging for some money, Despite the words of your parents not to talk nor give anything to the beggar because they said that they are lazy and just want to get something from you, you go near her and put your peso on her hand. What is peso to you? Sometime, you throw it and later pick it to add to your money in order to buy your food. If we have 10 people who give a peso to the beggar, she can buy her own food.
Someone became a victim of fire. You go to her and give some of your clothes and pray for her. You go to squatter place with your church group and conduct a missionary work. You are the one who explain about cholesterol. You serve the Lord.
A friend is in need. She has a big problem. You come to visit her and listen to her grievances. Listening is helping and what more if you pray for her? God touch her heart.
teachers encouraged the children to bring some can goods for the victims of typhoon, you bring it. Your classmate forgot his water. You give yours. Your distant relative is in prison, you go there to visit him and pray for him to put his trust in God. Your classmate is in the hospital. You go and bring food for her.
These are the things that Jesus done while on Earth. He asked us to do the same thing. Follow Him by obedience and lead the people to eternal salvation. We are not her only to believe but to do the words of God. We must always remember that APPLICATION OF WHAT WE READ is the most important of being a CHRISTIAN.
It’s good to hear these words from Jesus mouth when He comes in the second time. “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’Matthew 25:45
It’s time to analyze ourselves and prepare for His coming. He is at the door and with a trumpet sound, we will see Him in the clouds of glory. Are you ready?
