Writing Site Taglines Talk

My current tag line on my profile page at BlogBourne pretty much describes me and my outlook toward all aspects of my daily life. I have always believed a bit o’ sunshine can be found peeking out of the darkest of cloudy days or circumstances.

There is always abitosunshine to be found peeking out of the clouds.

Thus, with my tagline, I introduce myself to the BlogBourne writing web site… I am Ruth Cox, also known as abitosunshine. Most of my friends call me Ruthi or Sunshine. Some even call me Ruthless.

Yes, I worship the sun… Not so much by bathing beneath the sun, more as basking in the sunshine of a natural god. Sol. I would say Sol is the heartbeat of my soul. I firmly believe in the physical and emotional healing properties of the sun and seek it everywhere, no matter the weather and no matter my life place. I can always find myself in sunshine’s warm embrace.

I look forward to sharing a bit o’ sunshine here with all of you and trust that my readers and followers will enjoy much of what I publish here.

A pleasure to meet you, too, @icybc and yes, a bit of sunshine goes a long way toward livening up a dreary day.

Your tagline is a bit of “positivity” in a world that is often filled with negativity, so a welcome bit of warmth. Looking forward to reading and getting to know you better.

We all need more positivity in our everyday lives, @feisty

I have today off work so will hopefully get some writing published here and there.

My current tagline is a quote from Anaïs Nin about why people write. It’s very different from the tagline I often use, a quote from Robert Heinlein which says that “specialization is for insects.”

Mine says exactly what is on my mind-

      First, Do No Harm
      *************************
If we can’t help someone, it would be nice if at the very least, we did not hurt them.

I would describe you from some lines of a popular song, “You are my sunshine”. And these lines I quote, “You are my sunshine/ my only sunshine/ you make happy/ when the skies are grey/ …” That is how I regard you for the first that I meet you here. You are very optimistic woman. I am sure for that! 🙂

I love that sunshine song! I sang it to my son every day during his toddler years. Now I sing it to my dog! I try to be optimistic, although I am more a reality thinker.

The thinker always makes the world ready for any eventuality. The thinker like you is a prime mover of the things to happen in the future and the doer makes it happen.
