Atrocities Committed in the Name of Islam

Recently, an 84-year-old priest, Father Hamel, was brutally murdered by two armed men in a church in northern France.

The attackers were declared to be members of IS and this vicious event once again turned the spotlight on Islam. Media analysts, news channels, terrorism experts, experts on Islam all aired their views but I did not hear on even a single channel this crucial question?

What does the Holy Quran and the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ say about attacking and killing innocent non Muslims?

The Quran and the hadith are the two most authentic sources of law for every Muslim on this planet and yet none of these Quranic verses or ahadith were mentioned:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stated:

“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)
This hadith alone is enough to show how Muslims are commanded to treat non Muslims by Islam….Only with justice, compassion and respect, for which Muslim would want his Prophet to complain to Allah about him.
Another extremely important hadith is:
“Do not kill the monks in monasteries, and do not kill those sitting in places of worship. (Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal)

The world media will never tell you this but any Muslim who reads the Quran and tries to implement the teaching of Prophet Muhammad in their daily life, will tell you that Islam is a religion that upholds the sanctity of human life and the sanctity of all places of worship whether it is a church, a Hindu temple, a synagogue or any place where people gather to worship God.

When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to send troops into battle, he would instruct them:

“Go forward in the name of Allah. Do not kill an elderly person, nor a small child, nor a woman, and do not exceed bounds.” [Sunan Abī Dāwūd]

What happened in France and what other atrocities are perpetrated by so called ISIS have got nothing to do with Islam. No Islamic teaching can be interpreted or twisted enough to justify such horrendous acts because they go completely against the very essence of Islam and teaching of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Those committing these acts can say they are doing it in the name of religion-that does not mean their religion or any belief system backs what they say or do.

This is true, but we live in a world where certain people abuse and manipulate and murder to get what they want This is true of Islam and Christianity and others. The vultures feed off each other and grow because the good people won’t do enough to eradicate them.

You are absolutely right. It is the good people who have to unite and speak up but for that we need to communicate more and do our own research rather than blindly follow the media.

I think @dawnwriter – you must answer the fundamental question – why no one taught the terror groups all this?

Problem is NOT with the religion. It is always with understanding it from the wrong resource.

You cannot blame media. They are faithful servants to their masters. You should not BLAME a servant for obeying his master. Right?

Who is the master now? Let me explain…

On a Q&A community, a person asked a question – What if we end all religions? Then terrorism will end forever.

An intellectual immediately reverted – That will throw the world to even more dangerous condition – COMMUNIST – ATHEIST terrorism.

The media runs on a communist money. Religions are deliberately shown fanatic to make people react. A particular community is made a scapegoat so that ultimate agenda is maintained. In last Century, it was anti – semitism, now it is Islamophobia. Don’t worry – in future, a new religion will be shown evil. The good thing is that: people are losing trust in media. It is a slow but gradual process. But, they are still to see the real mastermind behind media scams worldwide.

I agree with Adolf Hitler on 1 point – the real threat is communism. You cannot compare Hitler with any communist leader (say Joseph Stalin). Hitler killed external Jews, Stalin killed his own men.

All said and done – everyone forgets terrorism in the name of communism. Media does not allow them to even look at the obvious threat.

But, the problem is even bigger. We tend to find a scholar to understand religion. We select the wrong scholar. I don’t know any religion which recommends greedy nature BUT I also know that many religious scholars can be easily purchased due to greed. Hope you get the point.

All this is by Zionists, who are Atheist and they hate all religions, includes religious Jews. It is all preplanned for the NWO anti-Christ agenda for a One World Religion, which is New Age Religion. The Zionists are trying to push people to be against religion and God so that they will accept the NWO One World Religion and One World Global Govt.

@dawnwriter, the key is that it isn’t truly in the name of any religion. IS even kills innocent Muslims. It isn’t helpful that at the present time, the current US Government refuses to even call them what they are; radical extremists. I get the strong impression that they simply want to and like killing people, so they use Islam as an excuse, even though it is an exceptionally lame excuse and has no foundation. They are basically trying to justify their actions and justification is a thinking error. There will eventually be retribution, but they apparently don’t really care.

I honestly pray that they will receive understanding, wisdom and enlightenment. That can only come one at a time, but the bible shows that it is quite possible for that to happen. They, too, will be judged one day, so I hope that they can turn away from their wickedness before it is too late. It is not my place to judge them, but I still pray for them.
