# 3 Viggo Mortenson Speaks a Triad of Languages, and Then Some

If that isn’t attractive enough, you should know that he writes poetry in several languages as well. This should give you some motivation to add to your language list.

#2 Guess Who Speaks Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, and French?

This celebrity has beautiful looks, intelligent brains (Her IQ is 140!), and extreme talent. If you want to be able to hold a conversation with her when you bump into her during your travels, just pick any language you like; she’s sure to be able to pick it up. #1 Nelson Mandela is the Father of Inspiration

Finally, you should know about the late former president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela’s, experience with the language. First of all, he said, “Without language, one cannot talk to people and understand them; one cannot share their hopes and aspirations, grasp their history, appreciate their poetry, or savor their songs,” as well as, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” How did he apply this wisdom?

Mandela’s first language, Xhosa, is one of South Africa’s several languages. He spoke English as a second language. Although it was no surprise that English was not his native language, his inspiring thoughts put him at the number one spot on this list. If you need an extra push to get yourself learning a new language, come back to these quotes. As a matter of fact, tape them to your mirror. What more could you possibly need?
