While on YouTube, I decided to check out music videos of all the musicians that I enjoyed in the 80s and 90s. I found the music videos on YouTube, and I decided to add them here to share my three favorite songs with everyone. We tend to like certain songs for different reasons, whether it reminds us of fond memories from our past, makes us feel good, or just makes us emotional in some way. In the eighties and nineties, I mostly listened to a bunch of eighties rock bands, as well as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and a bunch of jazz and classical music. I also listened to some nature music for meditation purposes. But, anyway, the following three songs are three of my favorite songs from my past.
I have always liked Dave Koz’s jazz music because it puts me in a good mood, especially when I am driving – which I need because lots of things or annoying people put me in a bad mood when I am driving.
The first song on my list is “Together Again” by Dave Koz, from his The Dance DVD. I am not even sure which of his DVDs I have, but this song is familiar, and I think it is on the DVD that I have. Yeah, I just checked, and I actually have this The Dance DVD. But I listened to this DVD during the nineties.
I used to listen to Whitney Houston songs a lot during the eighties and nineties, and I have always loved this song, “Where You Are.” I used to listen to this song over and over again. This song often puts me in a dreamy state. So, it is a perfect song to hear before bedtime.
The third song that I have liked for a while was an Evanescence song, “My Immortal“. I first heard it on IMVU, when I was chatting and partying with people in this virtual reality world a lot. That was probably sometime in the early 2000s. As I was chatting with one man, he introduced me to this song. I kept listening to it over and over again. I even decided to check out Evanescence’s other songs, which are OK. But this one is my favorite and it just sticks out the most. This song always seems very dark and dreary, and kind of sad and depressing, but emotional. I feel like hearing this song when I am alone.
So, what are your three favorite songs?
