Christmas is a religious tradition among the Christian nations. It is the joyous seasons of the year. It reminds them the birth of baby Jesus who born from a virgin damsel Mary and to a humble carpenter Joseph. Jesus’ birth was foretold by the ancient prophet Isaiah to be the greatest hope of all mankind and to be ensign of peace.
In the world, Christmas brings good will toward men. It unites every member of the family every December. Gifts are some of the tokens of this momentous event of the year in which kids and adults are longing to receiving them every Christmas.
Christmas also has made kids and adults to gather together to sing Christmas carols to every home. Christmas carols are tradition songs depicting the birth of the Son of God and His love to all sinners. Nowadays, modern Christmas songs and carols are composed by every nation to suit their local traditions and beliefs.
Leaders of every nation are looking forward for the attainment of the peace for their country and even so for the world. But it seems that peace is too elusive since the birth of Jesus Christ several centuries ago, only relative peace among nations do exist. Why is it so?
Anyway, since Christmas advocates the spirit of giving, what would be the perfect gift for this joyous seasons of the year?
The Reality: Christmas Is for the Kids
Every December especially kids are happy to having their Christmas activities in their school. They show their best in depicting the Nativity. They love to take the role of father Joseph, mommy Mary, and baby Jesus. Others do enjoy acting the group of the shepherds, the angel, the three wise men and even the cattle like the cow and the sheep.
After showing that 30-minute Nativity tableau, the kids sing the traditional Christmas song, “Joy to the World”, and holding each other hands and shouting in jolly the phrase, “Merry Christmas!” Then they hug each other and exchange greetings of Merry Christmas.
Then simple Christmas party ensues. Foods and drinks of various preparations are abounding on the table of every class and sections. Their parents have their own separate party too, joining with the teachers of the school. And they end up with exchanging Christmas gifts. Are the gifts they exchange perfect for what the children and or the parents want? What is the perfect Christmas gift for them?
