Good Sunday morning from Nebraska. I’m sure if you have followed me in other writing sites you will know that I am a very “spiritual” person. I don’t consider myself a “religious” person as I don’t relate to any certain denomination, nor do I go to church Every Sunday. I believe that I can still relate to God without having a minister/preacher to pray for me and I don’t need a priest to say my sins to. I talk “directly” to God. How does one do that? Well, look around you…God is every where!!
Also as a “spiritual” person, I can see people who are religious, who consider themselves a certain church denomination, who only go to church because they would be considered to be sinners if they don’t!! Wow, so you’re making yourself go to church, because the church that you belong to or the priest/minister says you have to??? Wow!! Isn’t that breaking a commandment? Yeah, I do believe that there is some kind of mention … 1) “You shall have no other Gods before me.” Well, isn’t going to church because the church and preacher/minister/priest tells you to go, against that commandment?
So, I struggle with people that claim they are religious, but are they really? I tend to overthink and judge people, which I know I shouldn’t judge them, because that’s not “my” job. I believe in this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouWQ25O-Mcg As this song, I believe that God is every where and you can get religion from the heart! 😉
